Probably not, but I'm confident that I've done all that God has directed me to do. Where does the time go? A certain amount of time is spent just doing the necessary things to take care of myself, Tiny (my dog), and my husband. You know the drill...cook, clean, repair, take care of one's personal needs.
I function best when I am busy doing something--not busy work but work that adds meaning to one's life. I start the day reading a devotional on "Word Search," followed by a short scripture study. Right now I am working on Holy Spirit and how the Holy Spirit functions in our everyday lives. That gets my mind set for the remainder of the day. Then, I walk Tiny and get her ready for office mate duties.
Here, she is sitting for the front porch protecting the front door! This is one of her many duties throughout the day.
When we've had breakfast and been "beautified," we settle down in my home office to read email, see if there are any Etsy orders for my shop, Nook Cove (
nookcove.etsy.com), check the schedule for LiveOps and read post boxes, check the calendar for conferences and errands. Tiny loves filling orders next. This is a trip to the mailbox! Got to see what's happening with other dogs in the neighborhood! Then, we begin the day.
Working from home has been my life's dream. I'm glad technology has finally caught up with my dreams. No traffic, no office politics, set my own schedule, give myself time off, and set my own pace. Life can't get better than that.
This blog will be about random stuff set around my daily activities and thoughts, kind of like an open diary that hopefully is beneficial to those who follow. Feel free to comment, make suggestions, add your 2 cents worth of wisdom, and how you ended your day.
